Superman has them. Batman. Spidy. Theme songs and songs referring to them. Make your mark with a Sunman song ?

To get things started, just want to say superhero Sunman projects are being pursued, but it takes some time and available opportunity to bring these together , so the current song gigs being suggested right now should be regarded as something you might like explore in terms of the chances and opportunities it may present to you as per what could happen, and what I'm aiming at making happen. The last being the feature film production of the debut origin screenplay for my original , California area based , superhero figure called Sunman, the potential of a pre-Sunman TV series based on Sky Kidd Anderson, and other projects like a print edition comic book title featuring superhero Sunman, the potential for a music compilation CD of Sunman thematically based songs, and the possibility of a hit ( or two of ) Sunman based songs or theme songs , that can be featured in music videos ( look what Batman did for Seal ... ).

As you as can see above , there's ol Sol ( our SUN ) making another grand entrance to another day .

Likewise, I want to make a fresh new grand entrance for Sunman, a presense that includes great new music and songs.

Superhero SUNMAN , now what's that guy about, huh ? A primer.

If you've wandered about the site, you may already have some inklings about Sunman. I might mention that since the storylines so far presented feature a fairly young Sky Kidd Anderson, that this might somewhat askew opinions about Sunman. Since basically storylines featuring an early teens dude aren't going to be as sophisticated as when that guy's a few years older. The tones are going to be different, different approaches at presenting the story pursued, the sense of the depths and natures of the enveloping vibes evolve. So while Sky seems somewhat unflavored now, this doesn't reflect much on the impression he presents later as his character evolves more fully. So Sky's to evolve into a skin and superhero world that's as charismaticly involved and compelling as a Batman or Spidy or Superman. When the time comes to pass when he becomes superhero Sunman - which event is featured in my debut superhero Sunman screenplay. Why Sunman, having wrote a Batman spec Sequel, just had to make my very own superhero.

By song. That's one way of going about it. Giving the public a sense of the flavor, the energized vibe of the world of this fresh new superhero through popular based hot songs, performance of such songs by hot performers, and by say a cool music video or two.

The vibe of Sunman begins with the Sky. Even by his early teens, Sky has set a pattern of competitive thrill seeking behavior whether re skateboarding, surfing, a desire to skydive , and demonstrates a degree of relative fearlessness even bemused introspection and witty commentation in the face of peril and odd circumstances. A smart lad born of smart sharp parents is partly responsible for this latter characteristic. Life in L.A. and California, and the natures of his parents and family life help contribute towards the former. But Sky is just born " Sky " somehow - that's how he's like from the getgo. And Sky's also a charismatic magnet - girls for instance are naturally drawn to him, his good looks, his atheleticism, his confidence, his witty laidback but keen humor, and even his deeper insides where conflicts and his real fears and insecurities reside - fears that are generally from external appearances well seemingly sublimed within.

There's also a rock n roll energy about him . That grows over time passing .. .

When I said the young teen Sky was as yet relatively unflavored, I meant I haven't given him as yet as much an ethically diverse range of attitudes and the quirks of communication that one raised Cal way would gather, but as he gets a little older I'll be working these in more and more, as well as the accompanying music and song elements as suitable to reflect this. Things like the surfer culture, the skydiving culture, the pure life, the diverse ethic cultural milieu, girls and cars and the Cal way of life, will become stronger factors especially the longer the time passed since his father's disppearance when Sky's 14 as his space thinker of a scientist, adventurist dad had a strong influence on him up to that time previous. Though Sky will always remain, at least mostly quite a while, at a certain reflective removed distance from all of these things - something of an outsider who somehow finds himself rather at the heart and pulse of it all too. His intrinsic alluring energy attracts it to himself whether desired or not. Like sun bathers to a hot sunny day beach or vacationers to a rosy sunrise or sunset. But he plays with that too.

But there'll be that rebellious stage acoming soon when things get a tad more complex and flavored.

These are matters concerning the early years of Sky before he becomes the superhero Sunman. So Sunman based songs associated to this time period would reflect these kind of vibes. The external and internal facets of Sky and his world and the characters he's familiar with in that world. Summing up some of the vibes :

But your normal run of the mill great song and vibrant delivery or compelling performance about the general usual suspect of emotional contexts can be made to fit given the use of a few choice words and key references like associations to things like Sky the sun L.A. type things for instance ( one or the other this or that ) or just a general flavor and context like some of the things mentioned above . A certain kind of sound that might fit. Combinations of things are cool, a separate female vocal line combined against a rock band vocal and rift counterpart ( or vice versa ) . A powerful song presense or deep emotional sense or mood is cool. An enveloping aura is cool. A folkloreish take with an rock n roll flavoring of energy or magnetic or powerful vocal performance is cool. A REMIX like song of diverse elements is cool. A compulsive beat is cool. A fresh kind of sound is cool. A sound that plays with sounds of the past and reshapes them is cool ( like with for instance the surfer sound ) . A hauntingly elusive aura is cool ( like that Seal song ). Diverse stylings are cool - from hiphop to rap to RnB. Diverse perspectives are cool. A song with mainly a driving beat is cool if it's irrestibly energizing and fun. Quirky can be cool ( like a Sarah Slean take on a song ) . A weird Alish takeoff even can be ...... . Overuse of the word cool brought to you by the letter C .

Sky's born ( first one out ) an identical twin - his twins Jase ( Jason ). Has a gravish manner young sis - Jackie "Jacks" .

Mom's Gloria - news and magazine photo journalist, article writer, budding novelist and biographer.

Dad's Zack Anderson - JPL space habitation visionary , explorer adventurer . ( Sky's: Sky -the-" Kidd " Anderson )

Zack too has a twin brother , space engineer Nack ( with history of mental instability but of genius stock like Zack )

The boys have a competitive rivalry but are drawn to different pursuits, have different adversions.

Sky likes joking around , having fun , has great skateboarding moves , has won surfing comps in his age group.

At 15, he's soon about to get into Skydiving. His dad got him into Flying too - Sky's taken lessions.

Girls flock to him but he has an on again off again girlfriend/pal ( feisty ) Kay since early on .

Kay's gorgeous ( by the way ) . She's an auburn whisped brunette with emerald green eyes.

Sky's dad vanishes when he's 14.

Sky lives in L.A. .

He's into space, ideas about humans in space, science, designs - infused in him by his visionary dad.

Sky's 25 ish by around 2004/5 ( around when he becomes Sunman ). That tells you the time period he's about.

The SUN. The Ocean. The Beach. L.A. . The sky. The nearby mountains desert and countyside. Freeways. Hollywood.

Sky has a habit of being a lifesaver. Saved Kay once for instance when she was caught in a strong rip tide.
