THIS PAST WEEK'S NEWS :

Changed the background look of the home page ( from one that stayed up but a day or so ) with the ( originally contructed ) background you're now seeing . Fits , as it's composed of images of the sun . That ball o fire that's nice and taostily life sustaining for us here on Earth . As well as being the source of inspiration for Sunman . And the well spring for all manner of fun things , under this sun of ours .

Music was the big thematic thread to the past week . Adding music elements to the site and the world of Sunman . Accessible music sites compatiable to the Sunman vibe . As well as downloadable music items . Some pixs and featured artists . Expect more to come ... .

Music ideas generated also . Re potential videos . Re a potential album . Re potential music collaborations . Music being a big intrinsic part of the world of Sunman . As also potentially associated to pseudo documentary material .

As well , I created some music myself the past week on the Sunman theme . And will likely be working out some more . ( Also did up a rudimentary spec Blade Runner rift . ) To which , I'd added some lyrics . ... am a bit limited by what I currently have available to work with but I'll do the best I can with this till I've better ... .

Still " ain't seen nothing yet " , meaning there's a lot more to the world of superhero Sunman than yet's been seen or presented , or heard , via the web site , and in general . In just one week , already some fresh , original Sunman web site music , mp3 clips !!

Not only added music . A new game feature is being unveiled over the next while : Super Chess . An original version of chess I came up with way some time ago now . Thought I'd provide it as an extra plus . Something you'll get nowhere else . Gratis . How's that for value !! I'm throwing it out there , and you can work out any bugs in it .

Repositioned the live help or feedback component to a separate page , just as an extra means to speed up downloading the home page . There's a link to it from the home page . I'm trying to get it smaller yet , but right now I like the composition and the selection of images now present . [ nothing to do with Sunman - also was on a scrabble winning streak ]

From the previous week's last week's news :

Added an E-Book means by which to download ( for offline ease of accessibility ) sections of the debut Sunman label novel " Before Sunman - there was only SKY " . Right now have the opening ection ready for downlaod - albeit the material in it not quite polished yet . But I'll be revising the content in that downloadable E-book , updating it , and making the new versions available for download . The same with subsequent E-book sections . The opening section E-book also has a rollercoaster motion graphic you might like .

E-book program info :

The E-book program I used for this is also downlaodable . Once you download the E-book , any section like the opening section now offered , and you click open it , the first page presented offers you the opportunity to access and download the free E-book program . Didn't take me too long to figure it out . Fill out the ( your ) book info page , create a separate folder on your computer -create Html files there , your E-book content pages , name the opening page as index , and limit the number of files in that folder to 10 ( for the free version ) . Then build , then run ( from command list ) . There's also a way to arrange your pages in sequence in the table of contents .

What about the next Sunman Prequel Comic Book ( Issue #2 ) ?? It's an ongoing goal for sometime first half of 2001 . 2001 being the scientifically correct official beginning of the ...

What's ...UP - this coming week :

Man's back living in space soon after a smooth launch and docking last week . The Space Shuttle transported three men to their new home in space for the next few months : the International Space Station . Man's experimental living gateway to future space missions . The ISS is soon going to get more spacous , and elborate , with more flights to add new compartments and additional new solar arrays for extra power to be provided by the sun .

The U.S. Election . Down to the wire , a photo finish .

Mission to Mars movie . Soon the Grinch . ..he's a mean one , mr. Grinch ... .

But ... humorously , seriously .

Can the Charlie Brown Christmas live action feature movie be in the works ?? Actually I'd really like to see that one , too !! ( as based on the classic TV show )
